Suburban Hot Toddy

Serves 2 generously
 

360ml water

90ml Suburban Barrel Aged Gin
80-100ml fresh lemon juice (to taste)
80-100gm local honey (to taste)
6 bruised juniper berries

1 cinnamon stick broken in 2

 

Combine all ingredients except gin in a small saucepan and heat gently until honey is dissolved. Take off the heat and mix in gin – taste and adjust to your liking by adding extra honey for sweetness or lemon for zing. Garnish with the juniper and cinnamon if you’re feeling fancy and warm your soul on a chilly night.
